Nathan Boyer, MD is a board certified cardiologist who practices general and interventional cardiology with an emphasis on minimally invasive, catheter-based therapies including coronary artery angiography and stent placement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), Watchman, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and peripheral angiography.
Dr. Boyer received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and is a third generation Longhorn. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease from the University of New Mexico where he was selected chief cardiology fellow. He competed his interventional & structural cardiology fellowship at The University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Boyer was formerly the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA and the founder and director of the Structural Heart program at The Vancouver Clinic. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor medical society. He is a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. As a physician, he has received several awards for education, research, and community service.
