Gerald V. Levy, MD, specializes in general and interventional cardiology, including cardiac catheterization, coronary stenting, vascular angiography and intervention and pacemaker implantation. He has a special interest in the treatment of patients with congestive heart failure and lipid disorders, as well as in the treatment of cardiovascular disease in the master athlete. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Levy received his cardiology training at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston Massachusetts and his internal medicine training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas.
Dr. Levy is board certified by the American board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Levy is a former Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the Houston Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a former Medical Director of the Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Services at The Methodist Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas.
In his spare time Dr. Levy enjoys his family, is a competitive cyclist, and an avid mountain climber.
